Initially working in property management involving apartment complexes, Martin soon headed up an expansion of the business into shopping center development in the early 1970’s. In 1987, the shareholders of the various entities involved in the firm’s businesses, did a corporate reorganization and formed P & S Equities, Inc. as the parent company of all the real estate interests. In addition, in the late 1970’s, the shareholders diversified into the energy business and got involved in oil and gas well development.
